There are various religions and religious beliefs from across the world that either exist or existed outside of monotheistic group of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Most of ancient and modern religions of this type are largely pluralistic.

They are also usually surrounded by living mythology that provides multiple concepts and explanations of religious practice. Sometimes in antiquity a religion represented not a monolithic faith but a variety of intermixing local cults devoted to specific deities.

A lot of beliefs in paganism also follow rural animistic tradition, in which many spirits were each responsible for specific, limited aspects of the cosmos and human activities. Vastly,  most of the religions of the past and the present has come to encompass and absorb hundreds of other religions, developing a rich and complex mythology.

As all the religions represent the gigantic part of the human history and are so intertwined with each other, they still generate a lot of interest from the audience and represent lots of opportunities for a general researcher.  As I am the latter, I could not simply pass the chance to start this blog. My primary point is not to generate a wave of angry comments or big negative response from the public, but simply to follow the history lines and see the development of each religion in the past and dynamical growth in the present.
